Hi BP Communtiy, as promised, I want to discuss how i fell into the real estate industry with my first family "deal"My grandparents have lived in Cambridge, MA (10 min walk to Harvard Sq) for 50+ years in a duplex.

I know FHA allows 75% rental income to go against your DTI, but it still makes it pretty hard to find a decent duplex-quadplex to purchase.

I am looking for a duplex, triplex or quad as an owner occupied investment for my first property in the Cleveland-Akron area.

I'm also interested in residential but would like to consider the higher end New Units / Multiple duplexes being built in the Wichita Area and to see where those go as well.

Looking for a SFH 3bedroom or 5 bed duplex...and hoping to be under contract in a couple weeks.

My girlfriend lives in Green Bay and because her parents wouldn't approve of us moving in together (until married), we are pretending to be rebels by having her be a tenant in a duplex/triplex that I purchase. 

I have a duplex in south city I'm going to list next month with one tenant and one open unit.   

We're in the process of a 1031 exchange from an SFR in Denver and hoping to tie down duplexes in Mobile, AL.

I once saw a house that had it everywhere and the problem was much of it was behind the walls.
