As far as I know, series LLCs have never really been tested in court so it is still somewhat unclear on how they will hold up but the idea was that each would be completely separate.Important note: In Texas, you have to set up your LLC as a series when you do your initial filing.

So, if you are going to use it to buy a house that requires cash due to its condition, you need to be able to refinance it into a regular loan once the work is complete.
