They can turn it over to the clerk of courts if they don't want to hold it anymore, but you will have to duke it out with the seller to come to an agreement.

I have several investments with POL that have been in foreclosure for awhile, one in New Jersey which started in State court and then they switched it to Federal Court and when I asked why they didnt just start in Federal court I did not get a logical answer.

So sometimes people who weren't in trouble just walked away from their houses, which cascaded the problem.In fact one result of this activity was that the bulletin board at the Harris County Court House FELL OFF THE WALL, from the weight of all the Trustee's Sale notices posted on it!
