Ice damming is caused by warm air under the roof causing the snow to melt from below.

I was then heart broken when I found out that you cannot cash out refi for the full amount of 70% of the appraised value, but only what you purchased the home for the duration of six months.

I literally started with a couple of hundred dollars and heart full of desire to improve my financial picture.

Don't get me wrong; There are plenty of knowledgable good-hearted folks in here, but what's acceptable to you in terms of living standards and the tradeoffs you may have to make can only be determined by you.
