Greetings BP Nation :)To all the seasoned agent-investors,Looking back on your career, what 3 things would you advise a rookie agent to do/be in order to be successful??

After a pretty rough start to my investing career (which probably could have been avoided if I had known about BP), I now own a couple of condos, a house and a guest house all as long term rental properties that are cash flowing positively.   

If you can see steady deal flow and can deploy money to other suitable projects at the time of liquidity syndications may be a better option for you.There are pros and cons.  

At the beginning of our real estate investment careers this can be very frustrating. 

Bottom line is if you can get good at wholesaling and marketing then the possibilities are endless for your REI career.

I am assuming some single-man shops may have tax folks that still have the license to do audits from working at a big firm earlier in their career.  

I am excited to work on getting a real estate career started in a great city.

But to have a successful investment career needs a deep understanding of how to evaluate properties.

You're background in remodeling project management is going to prove invaluable to you as you grow in your real estate investing career.
