@Jessey Kwong Keep in mind that as a non U.S. citizen that you will not be able to get conventional financing.

They have such things already for seniors notifying relatives, if for instance, if the electric bill isn't paid.For $150/year, I'm more than happy to buy it for the tenant.

I've got a couple of million dollars worth of property in Australia which has and should continue to treat me well on the capital gains front, but I'm chasing cash flow assets now and - from my initial research - it seems like there might be some better money to be had on this front in the US of A, where I also have some business interests.I lack knowledge in the lending area, however, when it comes to the US banking system, and that's where I'm hoping to draw upon your knowledge, experience and advice.Straight off the bat, I'm guessing my options will be reduced, interest rates and loan-to-value ratios higher as a foreign citizen.

Mind you this is written from a citizen's point of view.

Most of the time we schedule pre-meetings with the CEO or some senior person at the bank to build rapport and discuss the proposed project at a high-level.  

That said, I dont mind managing myself because I bought / priced / upgraded my rental so that only those senior enough ( and usually responsible enough) are able to afford it.
