I just read about a user reaching his goal of retirement and that is so inspiring!  

Does anyone have experience with using his/her retirement account to invest in Real Estate?

Our goal is to fund early retirement in 15 years. 

Not going to retire on it but nothing to sneeze at, either.

I going to assume that you still need to work and you know that $500K is not enough money to retire as of yet at your young age.

For someone who will do this few times a year and make around 50k, you can shelter around 56k in retirement account.

I dont remember the details, but I do know that in a non retirement account it is usually said that is better too, so we just stuck with it.

I own a home with a couple hundred thousand in equity and my goal is to buy and hold rental properties for retirement and to have something to leave for my children.
