I represented myself as an agent.

I live in California and need to clarify if I can represent my husband and myself as the buyer's agent in a transaction?

@Ryan Schwartz We are in process of potentially buying a home where we live without an agent and I will represent myself.

If the seller already has an agent, he/she can dual represent you both and take the full commission, which can motivate the agent to get the deal done, but then he/she may not have your best interests in mind.

When you accept the role of an executor or personal representative to someone close to you, you know the role will take time and patience.

I find some agents locally are not very familiar with how to communicate or navigate in these types of sales, and because I could, I was able to represent myself in the transaction quickly and efficiently.

In any case, this is obviously not an intermediary relationship and this person will be un-represented.  

I then went to a large, public, in-state university for PT school, and I later worked with folks to went to Columbia, which represented itself as producing therapists that were somehow "superior" to other schools.

Has a Personal Representative (PR) been appointed? 

It will cost you something to sell the home (think realtor commissions, title company fees, gov'ment cheese, etc) and it will cost you something to do the project (think holding costs, like the interest you'll pay on the loan while the project is happening)So, when you think of selling for $377,548 (if indeed that is viable), you'll want to take something off the top, say 7.5% to represent all costs of sale?
