I joined BP a few years ago but recently made the commitment to become a premium member and I'm motivated to get back into investing and sales. 

There are RE investors who have been networking for a long time, have the means to close in cash in a short duration, have a record of doing what they indicate, have paid bird dogs on their verbal commitment, have closed on multiple properties.  

Covid has proven you can work from home just fine and I think this is going to be more prevalent and the extra room can be used as either a bedroom or office. 

I have worked my *** off for little money in the past, but it has almost always paid big dividends in the form of future business, referrals, and testimonies as to my commitment.

And I have never (in the long run) regretted hanging onto a property, even if (in the short run) I've stressed out about spending much more than I'd hoped to renovate it and considered committing arson on occasion (kidding) (kind of) (but really... just kidding). 

As real estate investors, this question is especially exciting because we already acquire property.For me, three things that I care deeply about are the environment, helping those less fortunate, and a commitment to diversity.

It takes a year or two just to learn the ropes so probably not worth making that kind of monetary and time commitment if you’re not really going to use your license as a career move.

With So Cal being an expensive market, I'm in San Diego, you need to state your commitment to the market.

So if you have the few years commitment needed to make it work, I am a big believer in the product and use it myself.

I'll keep it brief for this update:-Underwrote 10+ deals-Established connections with 3 additional brokers in the Tampa area-Engaged with coach to refine my 90 day plan (might have to expand this now as I'm quickly plowing through it)-Met with 4 potential investors 1:1 in person and on phone, received lots of interest/verbal commits!!
