There is just not enough inventory right now and appraisers will not let housing prices rise unless you are doing windows, electrical and plumbing, for the most part.

Any contractors you recommend in the Tucson area?

Currently, I’m doing an internship in Fort Worth, Texas with a large commercial general contractor. 

Use s pressure test for plumbing, generator for electrical.

The super nice thing is that both sides are fully plumbed for a bathroom and are completely dry walled, the occupied side even has a fully finished BEDROOM that isn't being counted because they don't have an egress window down there! 

These days contractors in Cleveland are busy, so more contractors estimate based upon retail pricing which is higher.  

I would do two things: get professional bids on renovations (no fly-by-night contractors offering to save you a buck) and ensure I have the funds set aside to cover the cost.If you don't want it, I'm happy to take it off your hands.

After the inspection was done it took them a month just to find contractors to do the repairs.
