Look up CFPB Notice of Error and/or Qualified Written Request and follow the instructions -- it's usually a different address at the loan servicer than your normal complaint so make sure you send it to the correct address for these official notices.

@Teresa Rex One of the best pieces of advice that I can give to my clients is to shop around before you close your sale and not wait for the exchange to officially start, so yes if you can you should definitely get a contract on your replacement property as soon as you can.

In an un-official retirement community (almost all houses 2bd/2ba, around 1k sq ft, quite a few of these outside Atlanta). estimated rent is around $1650. house does not need any updates, looks in very good condition. low HOA ($40/month) that pays for outside landscaping.

So you could just do those ancillary things - show properties on behalf of an owner, act as middleman to facilitate repairs, etc - without officially being the "property manager".
