That model is more of a traditional agent split model, with supporting broker services that are designed specifically for property management.  

The reason there is so much ambiguity is that there is not a single source package that is designed to handle BOTH property management and bookkeeping well....there are systems that handle each one very well but not both (until you get into the larger apartment management packages like Yardi).
