Wondering what the other management and landlords are planning on implementing for procedures regarding non payment of rent during the no eviction period.I was thinking of asking tenants confirm that they have in fact been terminated, to present proof of termination and contact info of previous company.

We are asking those who are out of work and those who have had their hours cut to IMMEDIATELY apply for unemployment benefits (which are now available with no waiting period), and then to call us right away to work out a reduced and/or deferred payment plan so that we are able to plan how to pay our bills.

Be careful How you present it to the client.That being said, the amount of commission you make off of 1 deal is probably not going to be enough $ to get that client excited about having you invest with them.Someone with 1600 units doesn’t need your $.
