Like the others said, light(s) and a camera.If the house doesn't have an existing porch light or outdoor light in a good spot, but does have a window that has a good view of the dumpster, you can get a cheap clamp light (the kind with a socket, big aluminum bowl, cord and plug) at the hardware store, stick a floodlight lamp in it, clamp it to a chair or sawhorse or similar, and point it out the window.

Have them explain the meaning of the coverage, which are relevant to your property, and get recommended coverage amounts & levels.If possible you would want Special Perils rather than Named Perils, Replacement Cost coverage rather than Actual Cash Value, and watch the deductibles (especially if you are in a coastal location).

No amount of good paint will make the peeling paint stick, so it all has to come off, followed by sanding, priming and at least two coats of a good quality paint and it will last for years!

For the cabinets, we did the process correctly- take off doors and hardware; degloss and clean; sand; use high bonding alkyd primer; wait 3 days; then paint 2-3 full coats as needed.

I will enclose in quotes the three characters you need, so you would type these without the quotes following the @; "J S" and "K. " respectively; note that there is a sneaky space there for both of them, and K even has punctuation :)
