@Matt JamesThere are a lot of factors in this, including if they were properly notified of the foreclosure sale, the state it occurred in and if they had filed a lien.I am not an attorney and have not had to run into this situation.

My concern isn’t the price they are charging but more so the red flags that have occurred in the last 3-4 months that make me believe they are either dropping the ball of this or that since I only have 2 units through them I am not a priority for them.

A lot of landlords are advised to put their properties in the name of an LLC for asset protection.While this is basically true, the reality isn’t what most landlords think.If a legal issue occurs with your property resulting in a lawsuit, there’s a decent chance the plaintiff’s attorney will be successful in “piercing the corporate veil” of your LLC and being able to sue you directly.
