There’s a company in York, PA called Storage Asset Management (SAM) and they’re the largest privately held management company in the industry.

The cities are becoming increasingly appealing for investment opportunities and are competing with “Gateway Cities” such as Los Angeles, New York City or San Francisco, for those dollars.The other cities on the “rising star” list are Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Nashville and Raleigh.https://www.bizjournals.com/au...

I don't know about New York but things like that end up in leases here.

My strategy right now for New York is to not invest in New York.

I have a handful of SFRs in York and am taking some steps to start acquiring more, generally in south central PA. 

Given that the Jets beat the Sharks 4-1, I can understand that they don't like Winnipeg.

Currently, I am working on a glamping project as well with a business partner of mine in New York.
