Jonathan Orr,if you have the investment money to take on big projects I would talk to the city of Garden Grove planning office about their numerous redevelopment opportunities on Harbor Blvd between Orangewood Ave and Garden Grove Blvd.They just built a massive resort there called Great Wolf Lodge and it desperately needs neighbors like new restaurants,shopping,and more hotels to fill up the space between it and Chapman Ave.They have everything you need plus tax incentives to make it worth investing in the new south end of the Disneyland resort area.

This is in a good area of town, a "B" neighborhood, with shopping, restaurants, schools, and parks nearby.  

However, the one thing you can show him is that his money will be secured by a home.And real estate is better than any stock or other business venture (restaurant, franchise, etc) that he could put it in.

Hey guys I'm currently a server in a great restaurant making good money but I love real estate I'm investing as we speak and would really love a job in the field so I can learn the business a lot better so I can start my own business.

From having to add 8 hours a day of being in your house (Work from home) to having more dinner parties and friends/family over (All the bars/restaurants are closed), people are in search of a home that can now accommodate all of these things.

If it is a business that includes land/buildings as part of it (restaurant, factory, etc) then in a sale he can break out the real estate portion and exchange that for other investment real estate while paying tax on the allocation to Furnishings fixtures, equipment, and good will.All investment real estate is like kind to each other so a vacation rental is fine as well.

Hello everyone,I live in Atlanta, and see a lot of vacant gas stations and restaurants and office buildings.

If a multi family home is the right move for me id like to find one relatively close to restaurants, pubs etc so its easy to rent out and or easy to resell down the line.
