Long story short, my mother’s home was going to auction because of a loan my brother took out on the property and defaulted on.

The house is still in my mothers name because of that second mortgage an I do not want to be responsible for her portion.

My mother is looking to sell her property in the M-Street area (corner lot) in Dallas, Tx.

Getting a background check on the new residents is probably a good idea because they are residing there, and adding them to the lease as adults unless they are just there temporarily/saving for a couple of months for their own place, or going into the service or something.The Mother will know if they are going to be there only a short time or not, and should be your main point of contact as she is the only party to the contract with you.Good Luck!
