I like seeing other vets going into the real estate game.  

The overpaying is a bit of a cat and mouse game too.

I am too interested in vacation rentals in europe, are you already in the game?

The magic numbers are 1-4 units is residential, but as soon as you hit 5 units, the game changes. 

So I feel comfortable around the real estate and building/remodeling game, but am learning the foreclosure market/process.I did go witness a trustee sale last week and will try and go this week as well, actually walking through looking at a couple of properties and seeing what I might be willing to pay....maybe it will give me a feel for working through the numbers and seeing where the crowd actually values the property vs. myself.Anyway...would like to hook up with anyone in the Springs area sometime that might be willing to talk shop.Thanks!

He has blessed us with a head start in the real Estate game and I am looking to take advantage of the blessing and add to it.  

It was initially supposed to be a buy and hold (rental) but after going over the rehab estimate due to some extremely unfortunate and unforeseen issues, it will be a straight flip.The beginning of this journey definitely hasn't been all fun and games though.

Our only experience with real estate so far has been the purchase of our own home via Redfin last year.During the day I work as a software engineer at Facebook.

I'm new in the game.
