Foreign investors can own an LLC here, but not sure how the taxes work as the funds pass back to Canada.

Investor can either be a local or foreign investor. 

We'd already purchased rentals in the slow-and-steady manner, so real estate was not foreign to me.

@Ian Stevenson  there IS NO 100% financing for buy and HOLD  .. end of that discussion especially for foreigners.. you can pay cash many times and refinance out much or all of your cash.. but to buy or purchase with a 100% loan your wasting your time.
