I found this article on BP which described this in great detail: https://www.biggerpockets.com/blogs/1457/blog_post...Sounds like the loan must be at least $500k, but then you can enjoy fixed low rates for 10 to 15 years and non recourse.

Hey, crazy cat ladies have to live somewhere, and you're doing us all a favor by letting her stay with you.Just keep an eye on the legal cat limit and keep her under it and enjoy the ride.
