I had a local handyman visit the property and took photos and estimated all the repairs that are needed and he came in with a total of $6200 for interior and exterior painting, clean-up, refacing kitchen cabinets, and updating the bathroom.He is going to be starting work within the next 2 weeks.

I hired out everything and only did 'actual labor' 10 days total on the project (mostly tidying up on site, installing kitchen cabinets, little detail work at the end, etc.

Removing old cabinets and installing new ones will require you to drill holes in the walls.

Other bottlenecks included cabinet design/finalization and electrical permits due to COVID.

If it were me I’d paint the cabinets (semigloss dark gray or color of your choice).

I own a duplex (currently house hacking - my first property) and need to patch up a few walls and paint kitchen cabinets.

Roof, paint (interior/exterior), subfloor, floors, duct work, front/back yard, fence, interior/exterior doors, master bath, converted half bath/laundry to full bath, moved laundry to utility room, kitchen counters, cabinets, appliances, deck, and many more minor details.

The counter (laminate) is bent in the middle at the sink, and the supporting cabinets don't seem to be helping.Here is a remodel plan that imitates the original layout (has all the plumbing/electrical to support this configuration without modification):The sink (dark blue) counter is 9ft long.
