The sad part is that the pool of people with no savings includes a lot of older baby boomers.

I made that mistake years ago with a girl who's a law student, signed the lease with her, collected the deposit, and the apartment will be ready in two weeks.

If you have the operation running you can take baby steps out of the day to day but you must first be past the turn around and know exactly what your business is and how you want it run.  

I've spent the last few years doing mostly volunteer work with the last year spent volunteering in the Philippines where I worked as an undercover operative rescuing underage girls from exploitation.

Single mom with 1.5 year old girl, about 6 months ago separated from her baby daddy and moved in with one of her friends.

Sure you can patch sheet ... and if the floor is relatively new and the girl/guy {vinyl welding} the seam is good, it may not be obvious.  

We now have a couple of tenants that work remotely so we may supply hi-speed internet as a rental boost incentive.During my University years I dated a girl whose father ran his legal firm from his homes poolside & his business happy hours were a blast.

I went to public school for High School and graduated number 6 out of 450 students and I didn't even try (too busy playing sports and chasing girls, LOL)The government cannot compete with the Private Sector in accomplishing anything.

But the things that have concerned me over the past few years are 1. the Baby boomers needing to cash in 401Ks at 6% from 2012... if so many people *must* cash in, given the current state of play, most of the western world at least seem to be going through a time of saving, not investing ... who will buy the stock?

Today I would have given her completely different advice...oh well.Lastly, as for the condo deal....the Golden Girls seem happy.
