In your case 1,20,000 using your notation or 120,000 using American notation. 60,000 would be used to pay off the original mortgage and you’d pocket the other 60,000 (minus some fees).

Hello bigger pockets, Currently I live in England and will go to college here.However I would love to move to America and house hack, ideally a four plex.I heard you are allowed to count time in college as time working when qualifying for a loan and I wanted to know if that still applies if the college is not American.Secondly I would like to know if non Americans can even qualify for FHA loans.
