I don't accept counters to the counter, my highest and best is stated, take it or leave it, and if it goes above the price to a match and call, I have the right to verify the validity of the offer I'm beating, not the name of the other buyer, but seeing the contract with the name marked out and the ability to audit that trail to determine if it was in fact a valid offer.
