Are there unique challenges for people getting into REI later in life?

I've also never had people object to the 5 page rental contract.

If they are working on an hourly basis, the costs can add up.With that said - if you are in two very unique industries and you can't find an accountant who specializes in both, you may want to work with 2 separate accountants.You mentioned having a small business.

Every state and city will have unique laws applied to their real estate operations. 

I want to pick something and execute on that objective.

The main objective is to learn higher level Real Estate terms, financing strategies, aspects of development, valuation, and surround myself with people who are interested in the business as much as I am.
