It's a great market out there, but like I read on here before, if you are willing to long term hold, San Diego is one of the best places to invest. 

Have been reading a ton of books, listening to podcasts and have discovered Bigger Pockets.

However, elsewhere on the internet, I had read that you could not rent your property completely, even if you lived more than 12 months.

I don't know if construction field will help me much, but it seems like it'll give me the upper hand.As of now I have no idea what real estate really entitles and no funds, so besides reading what else could help me within this area?
