I do feel like the overall progress would be slowed for me as well, but defnitely appreciate the insight!

My partner and I are beginners in investing and while that’s in progress I’m interested in wholesaling with assignment contracts.

I would get a good GC to work alongside the foundation company...to check doors and windows and such as the work progresses.

Alternatively, if Air BNB/VRBO is not working out, then I can always switch to a traditional lease with long term tenant, also "investment" intent.My point #7 was a thought that did "feel" to me like it would be too manipulative and my pursuit of it wasn't a serious thought but wanted to get opinions just to have full scope of understanding how all this works being fairly new to the 1031 area of knowledge.I'll come back one day in the future and post how it's all progressing.

I see houses being constructed  and think that it’s so cool to see that progress.

This takes a lot of upfront work that doesn't make a lot of dust so people tend to get impatient and blow past this so they can start making visual progress.
