HelloI have a house that i want to rent but one twist - it is 2100 sq feet with 500 sq feet as self-contained mother-in-law unit attached to the house for the most part, separated only by  wall that lines up with kitchen and living room of the main house.

I've done some research and can find no agent attached to the purchases.

This strategy is strictly for land, because people do not have emotional attachments too it (another reason why you can buy a piece of land using this strategy for 500-1k dollars).

I had an emotional attachment to that house, and when it finally sold this past summer, I had a really hard time. 

Hi @Andrew SchraderTypically, we only provide items which are fixtures in our rentals, these are things that are permanently attached to the house.

I see very little reason to pay the TK premium on properties listed in Roofstock, which is nothing more than Redfin for investors with a few extra features attached, like the inspection report.

The standard caution.....you are improving a property you don’t own....the owner could get any kinds of liens/judgments that could attach to the property, depending on state laws and whether or not your land contract is recorded.
