I'm one of those that doesn't charge for the initial meeting but, as Steven and Michael both mentioned, the initial meeting is just to see if we're a good fit.The first thing I ask is "tell me what you've got going on" and then I let them free form for a while.This tells me how organized they are, how sophisticated they are, etc.
