While I keep my own central AC (in Orlando) set to a very economical 79 degrees during the day at 76 at night, I find that my tenants (including Section 8 tenants) like to keep theirs around 68-72 degrees.

I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. 

We actually had a guest let us know they used Uber from our cabin to get to and from Gatlinburg one weekend night.

Like many first time investors I worked late many nights to put finishing touches on things to get the unit rent ready.

.; probably a defense mechanism, trying to cover his own guilt for what he's actually doing by making me his target of blame.My wife and I were talking last night how crazy it is.The renter is acting like we've altered the deal, as if paying rent while you're staying in our house is a major shift to the 1 year lease he signed.Going forward; definitely going to change our approach for our next tenants.
