*Brand new in that we were single family home house hunting for ourselves for a hot minute, realized LA is a crazy *** market to buy in and we'd be house poor or in an area that neither of us wanted to live in.

I wanted the experience of choosing a realtor, house hunting, running numbers, buying a property, closing, working with local banks/lawyers/mortgage brokers, self-renovating a property, advertising it, screening tenants, being a landlord, etc. 

Oh well, we are diversifying now so we should be golden by 50 since real estate is getting added to our portfolio.Good luck on your hunt.  

Also, it's not easy to separate buyer contacts from seller contacts so I'm on the hunt for something that does SMS/email only.
