PM sounds like a jerk.. and your stuck defending someone you hired to do the best job possible for you.. they dropped the ball and you need to further monitor what they are up do and doing by physically taking action and checking what's up.

Beyond that, it'd be like hiring a general contractor for a remodel but hiring all the subs yourself - it defeats a huge purpose of hiring that person.

Lastly, in NJ (unlike NYC) you have a realtor because you are looking for a house, so any lease will likely only last a year, IMO.I had a realtor send me a great professional couple this last go round.

I booked flights for the date of closing, setup utilities to transfer, lined up insurance, got an inspection done, got my loan documents together, worked with my agent to get quotes, recruited/hired my friend to fly out with me, and probably did some other things that I’m now forgetting.
