     In March of 2017 I came across a website run by a couple of successful real estate investors and mentors disguised as average Joe's (and of course their amazing team).

I had a lot of renovations that I did a couple years after I bought it. 

Not exactly an investment since it will eventually be a primary residence, but we may have a few ways to generate some monthly income before in the meantime (and possibly have some small part of it function as a light income property with we finally break ground).Couple newbie details in case anyone has any insight.

I’m just starting out in rei, I like the idea of turnkey for my first couple of rentals and then getting into buying cheap and rehabing them and then renting.

Unless vets are considered to be so special that credit scores do not matter a 500 score will be no where good enough for any conventional bank loans.I would rent, with luck you may find a mom and pop landlord that does not care, then work to repair your score over the next couple of years.  

If you could as a couple of questions to Mr.

Ensure you have a couple thousand set aside for when you get your license in order to join your local associations, brokerage, MLS, etc.

If it looks easy enough i'll do it next time and save myself a couple hundred for less than an hour of work.
