Should I get my real estate license while attending University?

Should I get my real estate license while attending University? I am fortunate enough to attend college at no costs. The thing is I'm pursuing a career in a field that makes money but won't make me happy. After all it's free what do i have to lose? (Except time and happiness). I've done a lot of research on the career of a real estate agent and decided it was what i want to pursue. I'm hoping someone can give me some insight on whether to start now or wait till i graduate. Some advice I've seen online is to just network, get a part time job in the industry such as property management and continuing to read and learn then make the jump once i graduate. Since i don't need to rely on steady income as a student i feel my situation is a bit different. What are my options for learning as much as i can about the career while still attending University? Should I get my license now? Thanks

Hi Diego, I am currently in University and will hopefully have my license next month! I think it would be a good idea to learn sales skills and the ins-and-outs of real estate that you don't learn until you are around it everyday. Let me know if you plan on doing it. Also you should add your Location so realtors in your area could reach out to you.
