If there's a rental market, that may be a fairly stable income source while you wait for something else to develop.5000 cars per day wouldn't be enough for a fast food restaurant or something like that but would maybe work for a Dollar General or similar. The offer on the 10 acres is for farming purposes?

We're thinking simple white cabinets up to the ceiling, a subway tile backsplash, and extending a section of countertops for more cooking space. The bathroom looks recently updated, we've already painted and the only other change we'll do is add in a small pre-made vanity in place of the pedestal sink.I'd love to update the yard, but this isn't our dream home so I don't want to get sucked in to making it perfect just to have a few dogs destroy it later down the road. Thanks again for your input!

Yet another absolutely bizarre situation: the owners know that a criminal is residing in their property, most likely cooking meth in the property they pay taxes for (that the Sheriff office is using for their salary but conveniently enjoying the long Labor Day weekend while the taxpayers are suffering); the owners can't do anything on their own - it would be illegal; they have a report they ran on their "guest" but they can't use it either because of the agreement.... everything is bizarre about this story. My friends have asked around and spoke to many other investors since it happened to them.
