Exactly, the West coast is tough because it is beautiful and has so much to offer and people want to live here driving purchase prices up and rent to purchase ratios down.  

The beauty of REI is you can have the feeling of going Pro so many more times over than going from rookie to pro.

For the 'retail' tenant, this will also be a big problem as even fully able-bodied young people simply do not like using the stairs.Commercial like any other domain has a learning curve (and you never know it all) so keep researching and learning.Good luck,Oren

Oregon has it's challenges but is so beautiful how could we not want to live here?

Guy from Mexico bought it and disappeared after a couple of years...No boxes of money yet, no bodies in the back yard either thank goodness!

It's a beautiful old craftsman 4 bdrm from 1910 but it has wood single pane windows, no insulation, and only one bath on the main floor.

(Though we have a good idea, we like confirmation since we are relatively new to the area, and each city in Orange County is different)Oregon is such a BEAUTIFUL state.

If I did I would have to ask them if they drink and measure their body fat % to see how much of their income they spend on fast food and how quickly they wear out their shoes and that's just silly.
