Where do I start?

Hello people of Bigger Pockets!

My name is Nicholas Radon and I am new to the Bigger Pockets community. I just finished reading the Beginner's Guide and I am excited to learn more details about the different types of real estate investing and different niches.

I am a 21 year old student studying Mechanical Engineering. Currently, I am in Louisville Kentucky for an internship with General Electric. Although I am currently in school working toward getting a degree, I am keeping my options open as far as where my future will take me. With the engineering degree I will be getting in about a year or so, I can begin to save my money to put toward real estate investing. I have always been interested in properties and want to start investing as soon as I have the financials. I figure the earlier I learn, the better off in investing I will be.

I am hoping to get some tips and a little guidance from the more experienced investors in this community. If there is anything I can do in return, please let me know. I am familiar with the areas of metropolitan areas of Toledo, Ohio and somewhat with Louisville, Kentucky. For now, I just wanted to get my name out there and introduce myself to everyone else on the site.

Thanks for your time!
