Or, are your parents "hippies", especially creative or is this name more common and I just don't know much about the hot new, names?

I am from NY and sometimes live in Michigan where my parents are so I am know both states pretty well (especially the Detroit/Flint area of Michigan and NYC in NY).

Just got a call from a tenant parent and the January electric heat bill was $1100. 

Some parents are less comfortable publicizing their finances than others.

As a millennial myself I definitely think my values are different, in some ways, than my parent's generation and that the central nucleus of my life is a defined differently.

Hi @Wilhelm Nothnagel As someone who lives in SF, is an out of state RE investor, and has two kids in SFUSD public schools, here are a couple of thoughts from my perspective:1) If you choose to live in SF, you can find a good public school, especially an elementary school, if you don't just look for the "top-rated" schools but get out, go on school tours, and talk to parents who send their children to those schools.
