Hi Lynn, Maybe i'm making a leap here, but it sounds like there was a little mistake made during the underwriting on your loan, making it currently unsellable by Rocket on the secondary market.

@Mike Lambert @Bruno Demarco QuirozI've heard that in order to legally rent out property on Airbnb, VRBO, etc., in Mexico, I need to be a resident.

That extra money is better served used on an added property.When you add to your down payment in order to eliminate negative cash flow, that's even worse. 

I have researched and made of list of everything I think I'll need but wanted to chat with others that currently have an STR in Sevier County.

BUT,  I have made 2024 THE YEAR to buy my first property and go from there. 

My wife and I also have W2 jobs on top of that and made some larger home improvements to my home.
