Hi,I'm a Mortgage Agent in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and wanted to introduce myself.

I have been making my way through the video library and they suggest introducing yourself here, so I figured I would heed the advice :) I am new to real estate investing, still in the research and planning phase.

I've since transitioned to working with someone else (it's necessary both for capital purposes and also although potentially controversially I would prefer to have a partner), and I'm planning on working with an attorney I'm being introduced to next week to generate a full partnership agreement. 

I went to the guy, introduced myself, asked what he was selling... and turned out to be a 3 bed 2 bath house nearly $50k under market.

I would go where the buyers are....you might show up to the wholesaler showings....so you can meet 20-30 investors bidding on "wholesale" "off-Market" deals....not sure if real estate agent meetings are a good source for you, but depending on the office it could be....you sponsor lunch, snacks, breaks.....in exchange for getting to introduce yourself and what you have to offer.
