I apologize for that happening, because all the information I gave didn't actually include a lot of the details that caused the confusion.

So I do apologize if you think I was trying to give bad info.

Less than 10 minutes later both parents and the 23yo daughter came over to apologize.

As I tell everyone, I'm just another hard-working small-time guy in real estate investing, but I don't apologize for sharing my views and frustrations with the unprofessional elements. 

Instead of being embarrassed and apologizing, she had the audacity to mention the other neighbor who is encroaching on their property with a dog fence (the neighbor who referred the surveyor), and said they are ok with that because that neighbor is "nice" (as if I am not a nice person and as if that has any relevance towards an argument for them taking over my property), and then asks me to remove the cones and red flags as they are not attractive.
