Just joined this forum last week and finding it super insightful.My offer on a home just got accepted last night and was looking for any advice from seasoned investors - I have 10 days from now to do an inspection and finalize everything so I wanted to ask if there were any red flags before I go all in.The home is 190k, 7.5% interest rate, 30 year mortage. 

First time poster here and new investor, appreciating any advice in this new and scary world.My project, a conversion of a single family unit to a multi-family unit, is delayed by about 5 months. 2 months of the delay is due to my mortgage company.My original mortgage company transferred the mortgage to a different mortgage company early on, and did not give me the required 15/30 day notice.

I'm seeking a supportive community for tips and advice as I navigate homeownership and landlording for the first time.

If something goes wrong out of state you cannot see things on the ground, have zero knowledge of the area, and are utterly dependent on people who get paid by commission to give you honest, disinterested, descriptions (up front as to what you are buying) and advice. 

The best advice for you would be to prioritize networking and getting yourself into as many relevant circles as possible.
