A 2001 Grand Caravan can tow 1,800 lbs and has a GVWR of 5,550 lbs, with a self weight of 3,999 lbs.A 2001 Tundra has 7,800 lbs of towing capacity, a GVWR of 6,200 lbs and a self weight of 4,644 lbs.Even a tiny 2001 Ford Ranger can tow 5,620 lbs.How is that minivan going to outperform a pickup truck, in any way related to rehabbing and maintaining real estate?

Barring a war or major interruption in oil production in the middle east, I am hoping for a gradual recovery, but I am not convinced we are out of the woods yet on a bust cycle. 

The economy gradually improved and I started hiring and growing again and today I am doing very well. 

Getting rich is just like losing losing weight.

Because our inventory is heavily weighted with one-bedrooms, we don't have very many children and all of our tenants with children either have stay-at-home relatives or school jobs so that child care won't be an issue.

Without really digging to deeply in the numbers, this could show that average wages being weighted more heavily on the higher end of the wage spectrum than the lower.The median shows that there are more people earning a lower wage, which is why the median is significantly lower between 1990 and 2018, with the gap from the average numbers and lower numbers widening. 

I don't fault them for bad decisions, but I do require they carry their own weight.

@Mark Pipkin,I don’t want to hijack the thread with our differing opinions but I would hope people who were retired or on the verge of retiring in 2008 had a portfolio weighted toward bonds.
