I'm currently house hacking three rooms in my house and in my opinion it is a great idea.

As other have identified, you won't be able to collect for any damages as I rented to a Canadian citizen who was a great tenant for three years till he did not pay for three months and quietly vacated the property.

Our rental has now been listed on Zillow, Apartments.com, Craigslist, and Facebook marketplace for about three weeks.

Live in one unit and rent the other three, or how ever many there are.

Please note the S&P 500 has been three times higher than it is right.  

I wish you luck on your next three deals as well.

I have also been told to have the home appraised not sure this is necessary when three independent realtors have said 600k.

I know @Brandon Rush started with a house hack in New Britain and is up to three properties in 2 years.

What community is the Kissimmee house in, that will also make a difference, there are 7-8 that are top tier for returns due to amenities of the community and reputation, if it's not in one of them, you'll work harder to fill it up and get great rates.
