The ones that do are the ones that got in early (not because of the stock market but because they had the means to move the market), and even with a 30% drop, is still looking at a portfolio of 120% growth over the last year (I'm just talking about numbers based off the shanghai index).Of course the wrench in the works is the Chinese govt that has imposed all sorts of trading regulations to halt the fall of the market. what that is going to do to the situation, no one knows.

Sales info is generally public or can be obtained from a Realtor or website.  6-7-8-9-10 times rent and now they are trading at 15 so maybe the market is overpriced or maybe knowing market players are anticipating strong rent growth.

You do that by focusing on ROI and by not selling performing assets in A markets that will likely appreciate (both by market appreciation and rental appreciation), that provide positive cash flow and effectively paying for themselves.I'd advocate building a portfolio of more assets via leveraging or accumulating more cash, not trading one for another to squeeze out a one time (taxable) profit via flipping or chasing annual income yields (cap rates).my two cents....Hope this helps,A
