Looking forward to networking with other investors in the greater Raleigh area as either a contractor or to partner on deals, especially where I can use the advantage of restoration within my area of expertise.   

I brought in several iterations of terrible contractors along the way and learned that unless you protect yourself, contractors will screw you.

I feel like you should definitely still be looking for growth, but also that you should be looking to diversify as well so you protect the nest egg.

I absolutely as a landlord would take that deal as the reality is you will most likely get nothing if you do not because:-Do to our homestead protections, judgements against individuals are very very difficult to collect(being optimistic). 

Yes, if somehow you keep getting tenants who want to break your lease and you keep giving breaks to a protected class, that might be a problem. 

Would this provide liability protection for the entity that owns the property? 

We have the LLC to protect our life outside the business, in the case of legal issues.How did you add value to the deal?
