I was just recently introduced to MongoDB where I work, and thought this would be perfect for storing property/area/contact info when I finally get around to doing my direct mail campaign.  

This is perfect when you have little resources or don't want to deploy capital.

An extreme lack of qualified buyers (and those that were qualified expected EVERYTHING to be perfect) combined with a large inventory of flip-level homes lead to a severe imbalance in supply and demand.

(just don't lose focus on playing ball, you only get one youth to spend on that my old catcher's knees ache just writing that)You've got the perfect situation.. play ball spring and summer, and buy houses in the fall and winter.  

Logan's method is not perfect for determining reasonable compensation.

What @Zachary Curry is describing is a perfectly legitimate activity that could go to establishing intent.  

It's not perfect but it usually gives me a good rough idea when figuring new construction.
