Hi Abdul,I just backed out of lots purchase in Galveston Bay breeze area few weeks ago because from my findings on the HOA and certain restrictions.

Im passionate about learning real estate investing and just recently purchased my first rental property.Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with family and my German Shepherds.

When first starting out using a Buy and Hold strategy and with limited capital, do you think it's better to purchase a bunch of lower priced properties in lower quality / depressed areas or spend a little bit more but have less quantity or rentals (but presumably higher quality tenants) for properties in an area that is well known for being a "good" area?

In fact, one article I read claimed that 1/3 of luxury purchases this year closed for cash..It can be frustrating for a buyer to invest (usually months) scrolling real estate websites, (or weeks if you read our newsletter :) but in all seriousness I would say for every two offers made, one transaction ultimately closes.

Hi Kevin,I did not initially because I had just purchased the home a few months ago, so I had no estimates on what the monthly / annual expenses would look like.

Purchase price: $242,548 Airline Crash Pad with 18 beds available for a total potential for $4225 per month.

I know your question was about how to purchase a second property but how much are you losing on your first property?

My plan is to use the grant to purchase  a duplex  and live in one side for free or close to it.
