Before then I’d been renting a furnished room in other peoples houses so I could live for $400-500/mo (less than 10% of my pay instead of the 35-50% others choose) instead of a 1000-1200/mo 1br while making a good salary and traveling around the world with my spare cash.

You could even try renting out your unit first to get the hang of things, while you go somewhere else or vacation (I have a neighbor that does this all the time while she travels for business.)

I'm thrilled that we've grown to this point in our portfolio, but we are now up to 10 single family homes, and with other (more than) full time jobs, we are desperately looking for some help from someone that can help us track rents, walk throughs (property upkeep), etc.We have done an excellent job up to this point, but it is not sustainable, since we travel for work, and our tenants need more communication/attention.Any suggestions/thoughts here?
